Waverley Hills has won a gold medal at this year’s Veritas Wine Competition for their flagship blend, SMV (Shiraz Mourvedre Viognier) 2011.

This achievement comes short on the heels of a list of awards won by Waverley Hills in recent months. Their SMV 2011 won double gold at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards, and earlier this year it also won gold medals at the International Organic Wine Awards in Germany, as well as at the Challenge International du Vin in Paris.

Waverley Hills has consistently been in the awards with this blend starting with their maiden vintage in 2009 which won Top Organic Wine in the Southern Hemisphere at 2013 Challenge International du Vin in Paris, and the 2010 vintage which won platinum at last year’s Michelangelo International Wine Awards.
