It takes a lot of bottle to pull off full-bodied beauties like these.

Artist Conrad Engelhardt painstakingly pieces together detailed nudes using old wine corks donated by top London restaurants.

And some of the 2,000 and 5,000 corks in each mosaic end up on the wall of the very establishment in which they were first pulled, with the works hanging in eateries across London.

Conrad, from Shoreditch, London, has a background in chemistry and has ‘always been deeply fascinated in the complexity of wine.

‘My wife and I have always enjoyed drinking wine too, and collected corks for years.

‘We amassed quite a few and they started to take up space, so I thought that I should make something with them.
