Bastille Festival Food and Wine Marquee Offerings

The 2013 Franschhoek Bastille Festival offers a day of delicious gourmet Franschhoek food and wine and fun-filled French-inspired activities.

Visitors to this Franschhoek Bastille Festival can expect the best that the picture perfect Franschhoek Wine Valley has to offer. Join in the fun and festivities at the Food and Wine Marquee, open from 12pm until 5pm, which over the years has become the focal point of the festival. The marquee allows visitors the chance to meet up with friends while enjoying superb wines from some of Franschhoek’s award-winning wine estates, and indulge in appetizing dishes created by some of the Valley’s highly acclaimed chefs. From special wines and Méthode Cap Classique to the finest artisanal produce you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Entrance tickets to the Food and Wine Marquee cost R150 per person, and include a complimentary tasting glass and a booklet of tasting coupons. Additional coupons can be purchased on the day. Booking is essential as tickets are limited. Once the marquee is full no further patrons will be admitted.
