Hermanuspietersfontein’s 21st Sauvignon Blanc Celebration is scheduled for 29 November 2013 – please save the date!
Yes, can you believe that time is running so fast. It was in 1993, when Bartho Eksteen was winemaker at Wildekrans, that we started the first one. It was also the first “competition” where the TOP 10 of a specific wine category was judged.
This day is open for anybody who loves wine and specifically Sauvignon Blanc. The morning session is normally attended by winemakers and wine growers, but there are always one or two people who just want to share in the whole day’s activities.
In our line up this year:
– Arnaud Bourgeois from Henri Bourgeois, Chavignol, Sancerre France will lead the morning’s workshop and present a few interesting samples
– Older vintages will feature at the afternoon’s tasting as it is our 21st Celebration
– followed by a real Celebration Opskop!
Please book timeously to avoid disappointment – Limited space available!
