The 8th annual Season of Sauvignon festival in the Durbanville Wine Valley signals the start of the white wine season with a jubilant weekend long celebration, taking place on 5 and 6 October 2013.

The festival is dedicated to all things Sauvignon blanc, and there is whole lot going down at the 11 participating wineries. The valley’s finest chefs will make sure that no one goes hungry while the winemakers will ensure that your glass stay full.

The participating wineries include De Grendal, Diemersdal, Nitida, Hillcrest, Durbanville Hill, Klein Roosboom, Meerendal, Bloemendal, Altydgedacht, Phizante Kraal and D’Aria. Entry is free and wine tasting fees vary from farm to farm.
