Come Dine with Me South Africa has been renewed for a second season and will start on BBC Entertainment (DStv channel 120) later this year.

According to insiders Come Dine With Me South Africa will be back with 12 new episodes but the official announcement is only expected later today or early next week.

The show was a massive viewership success, averaging a 100 000 viewers per episode and breaking viewership records in the timeslot.

The second series of Come Dine With Me SA will again be produced by Rapid Blue.
