Get a taste of Le Good Life at Le Venue

The House of J.C le Roux has breathed new life into their restaurant after a makeover that literally raised the roof. Le Venue has been completely revamped to offer more tasteful, subtle surroundings. The redesign has taken four months to complete and emphasises the property’s commitment to maintaining its reputation for elegance.

The House of J.C le Roux has become an international destination over the years, attracting discerning guests who take pleasure in modern elegance and sophistication. Situated in the heart of picturesque Devon Valley, the new restaurant provides an uplifting setting for a relaxed escape.

The al fresco deck is the perfect spot to enjoy delicious food on sunny days while sipping on J.C. Le Roux’s award-winning Méthode Cap Classique and sparkling wines. Le Venue also boosts a new gourmet braai area which can be used for private functions.

The breakfast menu features mouth-watering dishes, including a “vineyard breakfast” of truffle centred scrambled egg, pesto button mushrooms, fried cocktail tomatoes, candied bacon, mini rösti and chipolatas. The French toast layered with grilled bananas and bacon, topped with Canadian maple syrup and crispy prosciutto ice cream is apparently a must try.

With their natural affinity to bubbly, oysters and sushi are always on the lunch menu. Other dishes include Thai beef salad, a winning combination with J.C. Le Roux Pinot Noir Rosé or spicy Portuguese chicken fillet. Desserts and bubbly are also a perfect match especially the red velvet cake (divine!) and La Fleurette crème Brule.

Whether you go for the bubbly or the food, you palate will be pleased. Le Venue is the perfect spot to sit back and relax while you enjoy a taste of Le Good Life.

Le Venue is open 7 days a week from 09h00 till 16h00 with breakfast served between 09h00 and 11h00 and lunch from 12h00 till 15h00.
