A 6-year-old cat in Würselen, Germany got totally wasted after getting trapped in a neighbours wine cellar during one of his daily unaccompanied, me-time walks.

Obviously parched from his leisurely stroll, the wino kitty binge-drank three bottles of wine and got completely turnt. The shitfaced cat then proceeded to hang out in the wine cellar for seven weeks, and then then did the walk of shame home to be greeted by his surprised owner.

“He was more dead than alive when I picked him up,” the owner told Bild. “We went to the vets’ straight away, where they diagnosed him with alcohol poisoning.”

The kitty nursed his doozy of a hangover for three days with an IV drip.
