Hamburger Straws Are The Hot New Fast Food Trend Spreading Across Japan

Today in weird things people are doing to food, a crime worse than dipping fries in milkshakes: topping a drink with a burger and sticking a straw through it.

Hamburger straws are a hot new trend in Japan.

Basically, you buy a McDonald’s meal, take your burger out of its box, and put it on top of your drink, letting the straw penetrate its meat and buns.

Why? We genuinely have no clue. After the first few sips, the horrifying taste of Coke infused burger will pass and you’ll just be drinking a regular soft drink.

It’s probably best not to question it.

Hamburger straws are a thing, that thing is a trend, it’s happening, and we may as well just accept it.
