Looking for something to do with leftover red wine or make use of that undrinkable bottle in your fridge?
These little suckers are fun and super easy to make, even if you haven’t tried your hand at candy before.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups of port wine
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 3/4 cup cane sugar
- pinch of salt
- lollipopĀ sticks
- lollipop molds
Instructions
- Bring the wine to a simmer in a small saucepan. Simmer until reduced to 1/3 cup – for about 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely
- Once cooled, place wine in a medium saucepan and add the sugar, corn syrup and salt. mix well
