Idiom Wines at Taste of Amsterdam 2012

Idiom Wines recently attended the annual Taste of Amsterdam festival. The four day festival was hosted at the beautiful Amstelpark in Amsterdam and allowed guests an opportunity to revel in summer food, wine and entertainment.

The Idiom Collection was exhibited in conjunction with SoVine Winebar, one of Amsterdam’s trendiest winebars, and by all accounts The Collection was of the top wines at the 2012 event.

“When the sun came out, the crowds arrived and fun was had by all”, noted Idiom Wine’s sales and marketing executive, Lawrence Hollander. From the velvety tannins of the Cape Blend to the unique herbaceous nose of the Zinfandel, to the elegant nougat honey palate of the Viognier, the Idiom Collection was exceptionally well accepted by the festival revelers. Idiom Wine’s proprietor, Roberto Bottega noted that “…all of the wines did well. The Viognier, in particular, was a huge hit at this year’s event. The beautiful perfumed nose combined with the nougat complexity of the palate hit the right spot. All three blends were drinking exceptionally well and offered such diverse tasting experiences that it really depended on what the tasters were after.”
