Johnnie Walker glass transmits audio into your ear as you sip

To celebrate the Johnnie Walker and ginger ale serve, the brand has unveiled “The Boldest Glass”, a drinking vessel that can transmit audio into the drinker’s ear as they sip.

The technology, which can send vibrations from the glass through the lower jaw and directly to the drinker’s inner ear, allows people to hear sounds engineered to enhance the brain’s perception of the flavours of the Johnnie and ginger serve.

A spokesperson for the brand said, “This is an industry first marrying music and drinks in an intimate fashion that opens up possibilities for future collaborations and exploring the glass’ potential further.”
