Poor old Andrew McDowell, publisher of the influential Platter sighted wine guide. Once again, Makro  has messed up big time with the sighted ratings handed out by his guide. The Makro Premium Liquor Catalogue, valid from Tuesday 18th May to Monday 26th July features Platter 4 and 4½ star stickers galore on bottles with no vintage specified. A couple of questions:

Does a 4½ star rating once awarded, apply to all vintages, including the 2010s yet to be assessed?
