Three red wines in Simonsig Estate’s Malan Family Selection achieved places in this year’s prestigious Top 100 Wines Competition, including one wine adjudged Best in Class. Simonsig Frans Malan 2014, a blend of Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot named after Simonsig’s founder, topped the Cape Blend Class.
A new chef and fresh seasonal menu are ready to welcome visitors to Cuvée. Chef Carolize Coetzee, who began as sous chef at Cuvée last year, has taken over the culinary reins at this popular eatery on the Stellenbosch Wine Route which also sports a revamped casual ambience.
