Paneer Pepper Skewers By Indian Cook Mallika Basu

These skewered kebabs, or Paneer Shashliks, are eaten across central Asia, Pakistan and northern India. The soft paneer, Indian cheese, is a killer combination paired with the crunchy chargrilled peppers and onion. It is readily available in the hard cheese section of supermarkets and ethnic grocers. You can strip the shashliks off their skewers and roll them up in ready naans or flatbreads. I would also recommend piling them onto hot buttered naan for a decadent twist.
