Chapman & Kirby Lights Up Eado

[…] SeaSide Poke restaurant has opened next door to Chapman Kirby, and other restaurants and bars are in the works including Truck Yard (a bar concept from Dallas), Rodeo Goat (an icehouse, also hailing from Dallas), a vodka micro-distillery called Our/Houston, and a concept (maybe two) from Agricole Hospitality, the Houston company that owns Revival Market, Coltivare, and Eight Row Flint. The partners include Hoang “Juan” Cao, who founded Hughes Hangar and opened the Astorian; Mazen Baltagi, owner/operator of Saint Dane’s and Christian’s Tailgate; Bien Tran, co-founder of Hughes Hangar; and Tim Soufan, former corporate executive chef for the Pappas Restaurants group, and current senior partner of Food Think, a food and beverage consultancy whose clients include Zoe’s Kitchen restaurants. When you walk in it looks like it’s been here awhile. Because we want to be here awhile.
