Constantia Glen revs up for harvest

While Saturday was harvest festival day in Wellington, that warmer appellation that produces so many of the Cape’s cool climate wines thanks to the miracle of trucks, the manne from Constantia Glen were involved in a spot of pre-harvest bonding on the sea off Clifton, shown below.

Consultant Dominic Hébrard was in town to help CG winemaker Karl Lambour with the maiden red blend, using the tried and tested recipe from Bordeaux with which the Hébrard family had such success at Château Cheval Blanc.
