White Knights in Garlic and Herb Butter

Turns out that having your friends and employees review your White Knight blends sighted for the Platanna wine guide is nothing new if you’re friends are snails, as these medieval illuminated manuscripts (below) reveal. Perhaps former SBIG secretary Pieter de Waal can use these images for labels for any new vintages he plans to release.

It’s totally on message, as snails and SA wine writers make their living in the vineyard. Heck, some SA wine writers even look like  terrestrial pulmonate gastropod molluscs, although the SA version is unlikely to be as succulent as those from Burgundy cooked in garlic herb butter.
