The Pendock Wine Gallery @ Taj presents a series of weekly Good Value Guru Soirée tastings which kick off in the foyer of the Taj Hotel on Monday 24 February from 5-7pm. The first one features over 50 Sauvignon Blancs from across the Winelands, in all styles and at all price points.
The aim of the first soirée is to showcase Sauvignon Blanc, the “exquisite whore” of SA wine and give wine lovers a chance to taste the various brands and buy their favourites in the salubrious environment of the grand foyer of the Taj Hotel.
The wines will have been tasted blind by a panel of tasters led by respected judge Winnie Bowman earlier in the day.
Their tasting notes, scores and quality values will be available on the international database of the Vivino smart phone app and posted on a dedicated FaceBook page www.facebook.com/GoodValueGuru.
