A whale of an oil

Baleia Bay olive oil hails from Vermaaklikheid on the Garden Route.  As the website says “on the banks of the Duivenshok River on the southern coast of South Africa, lies a sleepy little hamlet called Vermaaklikheid. A special hideaway untouched by time and “progress”. A place where one can escape from the pressures of modern living and where body and soul can be restored.” It was also the best value olive oil to slip out of our RECM blind tasting this morning.
