Dinner at a Travessa tonight with comendador Joe Berardo, the largest investor in Portuguese wine. Joe was recently given an honour in Miami and thought he’d reciprocate by paying off the US national debt.

Joe offered a 100 trillion dollar note to the mayor of Miami and asked for the change.
