Popular Cape Town restaurant San Julian closed its doors last month after 8 years of business. Initially, the San Julian family planned to stay in Cape Town for only a year, but quickly established their unpretentious and authentic Mexican restaurant as a local favourite and decided to stay on.
A couple of weeks ago the family packed-up their restaurant in 3 Rose Street, relocate to 97 Plein Street and re-brand the eatery as a new concept shop called Chilo.
Tortillas are freshly made with a variety of authentic toppings to pick from. Everything on the menu range between R30 to R35 per item.
The pequeño taqueria is open from 09:00 to 22:30 and until the liquor licence materialise it’s BYOB.
