The Great Wine Capitals Global Network* announces the launch of its first international Guest Bloggers Contest. The Program aims to provide a platform to general tourism and wine tourism bloggers from around the world and to promote the nine regions of the Network.

Bloggers are invited to submit posts on the Great Wine Capitals website.

Each submitted blog post that succeeds in giving an external view and in writing a resourceful description /characterization about our Great Wine Capitals or a Best Of Wine Tourism winning property, will be published and promoted on the website – but only one of them will be the GWC – Guest Blogger’s Post of 2013!

All the submitted posts will be evaluated by an international jury and the author of the winning post will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to San Francisco and the Napa Valley in November 2013, coinciding with the Annual General Meeting of the Great Wine Capitals where he or she will benefit from participating in the offered symposia, wine tastings in San Francisco and winery tours in the breathtaking Napa Valley.

To participate in the contest, bloggers just need to fill out the necessary form on the website and upload the blog post about a city/region in the Network or an organization or winery that has won a ‘Best Of Wine Tourism’ award in the last 3 years (list of those to be found on the Great Wine Capitals homepage).
