The Benguela Collection ranges from bespoke dining experiences to luxury accommodation and a wine estate in South Africa as well as a wine and golf estate in the UK. The collection also houses the historical Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens in the UK which were recently for the public to enjoy in May 2019.

Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate

Travelling along the R43 in the Western Cape, guests can make their way to Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate in Walker Bay, Hermanus. Upon entering the estate guests are welcomed by our commercial village with loads on offer., Guests are spoiled for choice with wine pairings and tastings, pontoon trips, an English styled tea terrace and the Moody Lagoon Restaurant. And for the kids, an 18 hole pirate themed adventure golf course with a kids water splash park for their amusement. Guests are also able to explore the surrounds in a luxury safari vehicle and enjoy a wine tasting in the vines, or alternatively, enjoy a wine tasting on the lagoon on our luxury pontoon.

Lakeside Lodge & Spa

Our beautiful boutique hotel, Lakeside Lodge & Spa has become the heart of the small town, Sedgefield in South Africa. Our luxurious suites open up onto a patio where guests can take in the magnificent setting of mother nature and the Swartvlei Lake. Guests are treated to a menu fit for a filling breakfast and a casual lunch at the Benguela Brasserie & Restaurant, where they can also enjoy tantalising wine tastings and pairings.

Mannings Heath Golf Club & Wine Estate

Mannings Heath Golf Club & Wine Estate in Horsham, West Sussex is the UK home of Benguela Cove’s unique wines. Future developments include a transforming 45 acres of the Kingfisher course into a vineyard with the aim of producing Sussex sparkling wine. The Golf Club has two magnificent golf courses, the 18-hole Waterfall Course and the 9-hole Kingfisher course, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Guests and members at Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate can experience true South African hospitality and relax in our beautiful Clubhouse whilst enjoying wine tastings and decadent pairings.

Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens

Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens are described as ‘The Finest Woodland Gardens in England’.

First planted in 1801, the Grade I Listed gardens on the 240-acre estate feature an outstanding scenery throughout the year and particularly majestic as it blooms in spring or takes on the glorious colours of autumn.

For a perfect day out, you can also visit the renowned Rock Garden and Dolls House Museum, see the rare colony of wallabies and catch sight of the deer roaming free; and then enjoy dining in style or taking high tea in the Grade II Listed Mansion – Restaurant Interlude or enjoy more informal refreshments at other locations on the estate.
