The final chapter in the Haskell Single Vineyard Syrah story

Haskell Vineyards in Stellenbosch would like to invite you for the very first public tasting of the Haskell Hades Syrah ( Single Vineyard) 2014.

It is a wine that we are both proud of, and excited about, the culmination of a project that began in 2008 with the preparation of the most challenging piece of land on the Haskell estate.

180 tonnes of rock were removed from the vineyard that we came to name ‘Hades’, an allusion to the hellishness of the terrain. In the first year, around half of the vines failed to make it through the season due to the challenges of the site.

But we persevered, and the result is a singular, expressive wine that speaks of the place in which it was grown.

Please join us for a taste of this unique wine on December 8 and 9 at the Haskell Vineyards estate, in company with our Platter 5 Star winning Haskell Anvil Chardonnay 2015, two wines to get your palate excited and your brain thinking.
