A Kickstarter project has already surpassed its $30k goal by over $50k with over three weeks to go, due to the hype surrounding The Unstainable White Shirt.

Created by the team behind low cost basics e-tailer Elizabeth & Clarke, the product is exactly as it sounds: a crisp white shirt that resists the likes of coffee, wine, ketchup, mayo and even sweat.

The product uses nanotechnology, which is the engineering of functional systems at molecular scale, i.e. the creators have researched into the way the shirt’s fabric is put together to devise a treatment that repels virtually any water-based or oil-based liquid.
