Looking for a rosé to enjoy in 3 ways? Look no further than the Alma Mater Rosé from Lanzerac. The wine has an attractive pink colour and typical summer fruit like strawberries and watermelon on the nose. The palate is light, succulent, fresh and slightly off-dry with an alcohol of 13%.

Enjoy it with food:

This is a wonderful drinking wine to enjoy on its own or with lighter meals. We suggest summer fruit skewers, grilled fish or a strawberry and watermelon salad. It also pairs beautifully with a smoked salmon and strawberry salad.

Smoked Salmon & Strawberry Salad:

 1 Bag mixed Greens – we love the one with wild rocket

 1 Red onion, thinly sliced

 Small punnet strawberries

 1 packet smoked salmon shavings

For the dressing:

 Glug olive oil

 Juice of one lime

 2 tablespoons honey

 Salt & Pepper

Arrange all the salad ingredients on a large salad plate. Whisk together the ingredients for the dressing. Drizzle over salad and enjoy!

Enjoy it in a cocktail

Basil and Lemonade Rosé Wine Cocktail:

Rosé is great on its own, but you can add a little punch to a glass by turning it into a refreshing cocktail. Why not try it with some lemon and basil?

Add two or three large torn basil leaves, a lemon wedge or two, a shot of citrus vodka and some ice to a glass and top up with the Alma Mater Rosé.

Enjoy it with chocolate

Enjoy the Alma Mater Rosé with the Lanzerac Pink Rosewater Chocolate, available only at the Tasting Room. The chocolate has aromas of strawberry, rose petal and Turkish delight with slightly herbaceous notes and red berry flavours on the palate. Deliciously invigorating!
