5 of the best: Wineries open till late

There are times in the week when after work you just need a glass or 3 of wine but many wineries are already closed. Never fear! Here are 5 wineries that open later so you can get your vino on.

Peter Falke

You want a spot for sundowners? Look no further! It’s an absolutely beautiful winery with its Cape Dutch exterior yet modern, sleek interior – it’s a mix of the old and new and it’s ridiculously stylish. Sitting outside in the garden is where you need to be; ample seating, lush green grass, lavender hedges and bright pink bougainvillea.

The wines are made in small quantities and they mostly focus on reds. They have two platter options ranging from a cheese platter which comes with preserves, charcuterie and seasonal fruits as well as fresh breads. Depending on the size, the costs are from R90 – R345. If you’re off the dairy, consider the platter of Parma ham, melon and salad which is between R60 and R65

Tues – Sun 11-7pm
