Absinthe Hapsburg has launched its XC Cassis style in the UK.

The blackcurrant-flavoured drink is bottled at 89.9% ABV and designed to be used in cocktails at a measure of 10ml or less.

The brand is owned by Blavod Wines & Spirits and distributed in the UK by Hi-Spirits, whose managing director Dan Bolton said: “Although there are simple ways to serve and enjoy the brand, our core customer is cocktail experts who will use a dash of the spirit to create their own unique drinks.”

Each 50cl bottle will make 50 cocktails and the rrp is £55.
