A Wineglass That`s Always Tipsy

Ron Arad, the Israeli-born, London-based designer, doesn’t appreciate a fussy table setting and is anything but a wine snob.

Speaking at a press conference in Istanbul earlier this year, he said that the subtleties of wineglass varieties eluded him; a vintage registers on his palate as good or bad, no matter the size or shape of its container.

Having been asked to create glassware for the Turkish manufacturer Pasabahce, he accepted that different vessels were necessary for red and white wine, but saw no reason that they couldn’t be conjoined.
