AC/DC drummer violates house arrest by drinking alcohol with prostitutes

Former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has been arrested for breaching his home detention sentence.

The 61-year-old musician was arrested in New Zealand on Saturday (18.07.15) – just nine days after he was sentenced to an eight-month home detention sentence for drug possession and making threats to kill – after allegedly breaking the terms of his sentence by consuming alcohol

Local media are also reporting there were prostitutes present at the time of his arrest.

Phil made no plea following his arrest and will appear in Tauranga District court again in a fortnight, after his lawyer requested the case be remanded until August 3, according to Stuff.co.nz.

The troubled musician will now be forced to undergo random drug and alcohol testing while serving the remaining months of his sentence to ensure the incident is not repeated, after the extra condition was requested by a community probation officer.
