Rietvallei wines are all made from a single vineyard, specifically selected for its exceptional fruit quality and ability to produce wines of a superior world class standard.

The farm was acquired in 1864 by Alewyn Burger for his son Jacobus Francois. Today the fifth and sixth generation of the Burger family, Johnny and his son Kobus, are actively running the estate.
