This Friday the Veritas Competition announced their award winners for 2017 during the annual Gala Dinner held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
For the first time in its 27 years of existence, the show adopted the more internationally excepted 100 scoring system in favour of the old 20 point scoring system. It also introduced a new overall category award called the Vertex Award.
This year 1472 of the 1638 wines entered received a medal. To the top end, 193 Gold Medals and 71 Double Gold medals were handed out.
