American Distillery Releases Hemp-infused Vodka In Celebration of 4/20

Appropriately enough, a distillery in Florida is releasing a hemp vodka on Friday, 4/20.

After more than a year of planning and research, Fat Dog Spirits — the parent company of Touch Vodka — is releasing its new Nirvana vodka.

Served in 750-millileter bottles, Nirvana will be released at  4:20 p.m. at Donatello Italian Restaurant, 232 N Dale Mabry Highway.

The target demographic for the product? Health-focused millennials.

“We came up with the name Nirvana to signify living in the moment,” CEO Dr. Ram Ramcharran said in a news release. “After 17 months, this fine product has come to fruition to provide a blissful, relaxing-style feeling. We made vodka that just happens to have hemp in it.”

The 80-proof spirit is hand-crafted at the company’s Ybor City facility. It includes various flavors, including key lime, orange and grapefruit. The product sells from $24,99 to $26.99.

It is touted as “natural, gluten-free and organic” and made using locally sourced Florida ingredients.
