Avocado Stuffed Meatballs

Have you ever tasted meatballs stuffed with avocado? You should! Because these are INCREDIBLE!


For the meatballs:

½ lb (450 g) lean ground beef
½ lb (450 g) lean ground pork
1 scallion, finely chopped (plus a bit more for garnish)
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 egg
½ teaspoon paprika powder
½ teaspoon fine salt
¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
½ teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons plain breadcrumbs
½ ripe avocado, peeled and cut into 14 pieces

For the sauce:

¼ cup (60 ml) low-sodium soy sauce
½ cup (120 ml) ketchup
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon brown sugar
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
