Beer Can Wrapped Bacon and Minced Meat Burger Patties For The Braai

Bacon, burgers, cheese and beer. Maybe not the healthiest of combos, but doesn’t it sound darn good to have this monster of a meal once in a while?

Preparing your burgers patties this way is so crazy it’s genius. This recipe is dedicated to all the hamburger loving citizens who like to get high when they braai!

Ingredients

Service 4

  • 500g ground beef mince
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • onions, fried
  • red and green pepper, diced
  • cheese, sliced
  • BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Roll the ground beef into balls.
  2. Take a beer can and mold the meat around the beer.
  3. Wrap two slices of bacon around the meat
  4. Remove the beer can
  5. Stuff your hamburger with fried onion and pepper
  6. Top with BBQ sauce and cheese
  7. Set on the grill, close the lid, and leave the hamburgers there for approximately one hour.
