Boplaas releases Bobbejaanberg Sauvignon Blanc 2015

Boplaas just released the 2015 Bobbejaanberg Sauvignon Blanc.

This wine comes from a vineyard high up in the Outeniqua mountains (cooler than Constantia) and got its name from the baboons eating the grapes late in the season at the end of March (beginning April). This wine has a complex nose of grapefruit, pineapple, green figs and peas and promises the same quality as the 2014 that got a double gold at Michelangelo.

This wine is available at the farm in Calitzdorp and at the Mossel Bay tasting room for R 85.00 per bottle. The 2014 was sold out after a few months.
