Call for Entry: Best Value White Blends and Red Blends

Wine Mag’s Best Value Tastings 2019 programme continues, this time with 1) White Blends and 2) Red Blends. The aim is to find the best examples of these varieties costing between R60 and R120 per bottle.

Wines will be tasted blind and scored according to the 100-point quality scale by a three-person panel consisting of:

Journalist and taster for Platter’s Joanne Gibson, Blouberg Beach Hotel food & beverage manager Ndaba Dube  & Jeanri-tine Van Zyl of Feed That Bird communication consultants, for White Blends;

Journalist Malu Lambert, Warwick Estate sales manager Spencer Fondaumiere, & winemaker as well as a business development manager at Wine Cellar Jolette Steyn, for Red Blends.

Entries close on Wednesday 17 July.

Results will be announced on Tuesday 6 August for White Blends & Tuesday 13 August for Red Blends.
