Cape Town Restaurant Set To Break The Record For Biggest Burger In The World

Annie’s Pub and Grill in Stikland, Cape Town wants to break the record for the biggest burger on a menu anywhere in the world after making South Africa’s biggest earlier this year.

Inspired by the interest generated when they constructed the biggest burger in South Africa, Annie’s Ladies Bar are set to make another record attempt.

This time the popular pub and grill in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs hope to aid a good cause in the process.

The record attempt forms part of a day of fun and entertainment for all that starts at 14:00 on Saturday 30 November 2019 and continuing last into the night.

An entrance fee of R100 will be charged, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Grace Animal Sanctuary.

More than just the biggest burger

The epic creation is set to feature more toppings than any other burger on the planet, and it is estimated that it will weigh more than 100kgs.

Cooked with specially constructed utensils the burger will be flamed grilled by a team of chef’s led by Joe, Annie’s number one man and the creator of Joe’s monster burger patties.

While the kitchen staff slave away to produce the enormous sandwich, there will be live music and entertainers setting the party mood throughout the day. The pub’s usual car service will run throughout the day with extra specials being offered just for the occasion.

Grace Animal Sanctuary will also allow prospective adopters to give a home to some of the animals they work so hard to rescue. Please note responsible adoption practices remain in place and the process can take up to 2 weeks from start to finish.
