On April 27th, the Sowetan women’s club celebrated their freedom with a premium rooftop event capped with a keynote address by Connie Ferguson. The club continues to empower ambitious and aspirational women; while creating a networking platform to learn and grow from other like-minded women in fun and interactive spaces. The magical ambience of the event saw the ladies arrive in most elegant fashions, to enjoy an insightful discussion around health, business, empowerment and culture:

Mogau Seshoene, founder and chief executive of The Lazy Makoti provided guests with a lesson on preparing quick, easy and nutritious meals – the perfect matches to our Demi-Sec and Brut Rose Cap Classiques.

Mapule Ndhlovu, better known as ‘queen fitnass’ elaborated on the concept of beauty, acknowledging it as the kindness women show each other and that it is not defined by the way you look but from what radiates from within.

The event was of course closed by a powerful talk by Connie Ferguson, the main speaker of the day, who had the audience eating out of the palm of her hand. Speaking on what freedom means to her and why the world needs more female leaders
