To this remarkably apt quote from the philosopher Marthinus Versfeld, Carolyn Martin adds that every Creation wine tells a unique story. “At Creation the art of winemaking begins long before the grapes are harvested. It begins with the land itself, the spirit of which lives on in every bottle, it captures a moment in time.”

Having said that, Carolyn expands on the estate’s motto: ‘Creating wines of distinction’. “Right from the start it has been our intention to harness the great potential of our land in order to create site-specific wines reflecting our unique terroir – wines that proudly ‘remember’ their roots.”
