Victoria Beckham is a huge fan of tequila, according to her husband David.

The retired footballer has revealed in a new interview with Conde Nast Traveller that his wife has a real penchant for the fiery alcoholic drink: so much so, he bought her a special bottle after a recent trip to Mexico.

The 40-year-old has recently been on location in Mexico City, shooting a promotional film called Outlaws alongside Hollywood heavyweight Harvey Keitel.

And, in the chat with the magazine, David confessed that he had recently purchased a bottle for her as a gift, adding: ‘She loves it (tequila), which is a very new thing.’
Her love of the Mexican spirit comes despite the fact David is the face of scotch whisky brand Haig Club.
