The annual Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival begins on Friday 29 June until 8 July 2018 and is one of the most sought after events of Winter. The festival is famed for the premium sports & lifestyle events that take place over the 10 day festival.

Phantom Gin will be showcasing at the Knysna Wine Festival on the evenings of 2 & 3 July which takes place on Thesen Island.

Phantom Craft the creators behind Phantom Gin and soon-to-be other spirit products do not as yet have a permanent tasting room or retail space in Knysna. They have been offering tastings by appointment in Knysna and selling Phantom Gin from the local liquor stores. According to Chantal Bruwer one of the founders of Phantom Craft: “We have been looking for the perfect location to open a magical tasting room, preferably along the Phantom Pass and will advertise the venue as soon as it is established.”

Not to worry, if you would like to meet the founders and taste Phantom Gin while attending the Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival, they have collaborated with Spotless Classic & Sports cars to offer a pop-up gin tasting experience in the classic car showroom. Knysna is known as the classic car mecca of South Africa and Spotless showcases some incredible vehicles from the area. Mingle around extravagant classic & sports cars while tasting the mysterious jet black gin.

The pop-up will take place from 29 June – 8 July from 16:00 – 18:00 daily excluding the 2nd and 3rd of July when they are standing at the Knysna Wine Festival. On Saturday 30 June and 7 July Armand from Songbird Music in Knysna will be strumming his eclectic mix of instruments for guests to enjoy while visiting.
