The second Ultra Mussels Wine Tournament will be hosted on Saturday 25 July 2015 from midday until 4pm. Mark Norrish, General Manager of Ultra Liquors Wine Division specially selected the participating wine estates. Constantia and Cape Point will be teaming up against Elgin and Bot River for a friendly tournament, showing wine lovers the contrast of these old and new wine regions.

Representing the Cape Peninsula team will be Groot Constantia, Constantia Glen, Constantia Uitsig, Beau Constantia, Buitenverwachting, Steenberg Vineyards and Cape Point Vineyards. Team Elgin / Bot River will include Catherine Marshall Wines, Shannon Vineyards, Paul Cluver Wines, Iona Wines, Oak Valley Wines, Almenkerk Wine Estate and Luddite Wines.

The event will be held inside the cosy Den Anker Restaurant at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Your ticket includes: 1 kg of fresh mussels, a souvenir wine glass & wine tastings. Live entertainment by Liquid Sax. Come show us your ‘muscles’ at this year’s Ultra Mussels Festival. Tickets cost R190 per person and are available through Webtickets. Only 200 tickets available. No under 18’s allowed.
