And even Hollywood A-listers Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are falling over themselves to spend time with the lovable British crooner.

Ed has become such good pals with the former Friends stars, he was bizarrely welcomed to spend Thanksgiving with them – despite turning up in his board shorts.

The A Team singer revealed the crazy antics that took place as he attended the premiere of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, for which his song I See Fire is on the soundtrack.

He joked wine, music and even rapping in Arabic – courtesy of Borat-star Sacha Baron Cohen – had played the biggest parts in the US holiday party weekend.

Speaking to E! Online about the surreal celebration, he said: “I ate a lot of food, drank a lot of wine and played a lot of songs.
