Creation will soon introduce two unique new additions to our range of wine pairing experiences: the Paradoxical Chocolate Pairing and a pioneering tea and canapé pairing that mirrors the wine and canapé pairing.
Why Paradoxical Chocolate Pairing?
Chocolate is one of those things that many people think just shouldn’t be paired with wine – and at Creation we thought “challenge accepted”. The premise is that instead of pairing the chocolate itself with wine, the chocolate will serve to elevate the flavours in the wine. Using flavour profiling (the art – and the science – behind analysing the individual components within a complex flavour) Creation has commissioned four specially blended, velvety smooth chocolates to be served with four of our wines. Thus our delicately aromatic Viognier will be served with the Passion, our intensely fragrant Pinot Noir with the Charisma, our fruity, spicy Merlot with the Resonance and our complex Syrah with the Déjà Vu. Non-Alcoholic Flavour Pairings
In the spirit of innovation and inclusivity Creation has partnered with the luxury TWG Tea brand to develop a tea and canapé pairing that runs parallel to our new wine and food pairing. Using exotic blends of spice and essence and the finest quality teas we have created an ethereal and aromatic taste experience that reflects the complexity of our world famous wine and canapé pairing. Creation has always made an exceptional effort to accommodate everyone – we have a special vegetarian menu as well as a dedicated play area for the kiddies and now we have a pairing experience suitable for the designated drivers, expectant moms and those who abstain for religious reasons.
