Experience value for money wines with Spar`s Olive Brook Range

In these financially embattled times, everybody is looking for a deal. Whether it’s groceries, commodities or wine – people are searching for value before dishing out their money. But is it possible to buy budget wine and still enjoy a quality taste?

The SPAR group recently launched and re-introduced a selection of pocket-friendly wines under their Olive Brook label. SPAR’s Private Label portfolio has grown significantly over the past couple of years with the latest additions being “Sweetspot”, the “Prestige”, the “Pinnacle”, and the “Icon”. Altogether thirteen variants are involved, with a 2009 vintage icon MCC wine to be launched during 2013.

The aim behind the range is to create wine types and styles to match the pocket and taste preferences of consumers of all income groups. Taking in consideration the wine preferences of the consumer, they have created a range of wines that  are easy-drinking, accessible, fruit-driven, and most importantly affordable. A lot of thought went into the final presentation and packaging of every wine, from the closure, to bottle, outer carton and label design.

One thing can be said, you’ll find it hard to miss this bright and vibrant range on the shelves. The electric green and pink labels of the Prestige and the Pinnacle range make them unmissable, whereas the Sweet Spot range adds a touch of retro-chic.
