Exploring The Enchanting Flavours Of Black Magic Coffee

In celebration of International Coffee Day on the 1st October, we speak with one of the incredible baristas at The Bakery at Jordan, Martin Mutata about what makes their Black Magic coffee so enchanting!

Martin has been working at Jordan for almost two years.  ‘I love this estate and all the people here, they are like my family’ says Martin.  Having studied a degree in Fine Arts in Zimbabwe, he most enjoys making Flat Whites as he can let his creativity run wild creating interesting designs with the foam.  He most enjoys designing proteas, taking inspiration from these proudly South African flowers, that blossom on the estate.

The Black Magic roast, made exclusively for The Bakery at Jordan by local roasters, Red Roof Roasters, is a medium roast blend of three beans from Central America and one from Africa.  We named this coffee after our Black Magic Merlot, as it has deep rich flavours that linger on the palate.

Join us at The Bakery at Jordan in celebration of International Coffee Day and enjoy an amazing cup of coffee, served with a delicious freshly baked pastry from our deli counter!
