Have you visited Fairview’s ever-expanding deli lately? The space that used to play host to our cheese shop now boasts a wide range of artisanal Fairview foodie products in addition to our famous cheeses.

Why enjoy your cheese with just strawberry jam when you could try fig, tomato and Nastergal jams too? Those looking for a more savoury spread could try some of our freshly made hummus, tzatziki or labneh, or simply drizzle a bit of delicious balsamic glaze onto their favourite cheese. Need something on which to enjoy your delicious cheese and spread? Try one of the freshly baked loaves, baguettes or bretzels available at the baked goods counter (and don’t forget to pick up a cupcake or ‘mosbolletjie’ while you’re there!).

If you’ve already planned to cook up a storm when you return home, why not get some Fairview olive oil or an exotic spice grinder to enhance your creation? Bakers will be delighted by sweet treats the likes of locally preserved fruit, granadilla lemon curd, jasmine flower syrup and pomegranate and vanilla pod syrup, while those looking for an on-the-go sweet treat can grab a DV Artisan Chocolate for the road.

The newest (and possibly most exciting) addition to our deli is the Fairview full-fat extra creamy Greek-style yoghurt (also available in a delicious frozen yoghurt with a caramel swirl) and a range of La Capra-infused sorbets!

Cheese lovers needn’t worry that we have compromised on our original selection – we are indeed still expanding our popular range and Fairview Affineur Luke Williams is always coming up with innovative new cheesy creations to sell in the deli (remember the famous Pinotage-washed camembert?).
