Calling all women who would like to sip, swirl, taste and judge South Africa’s top wines at the Ultra Liquors 100 Women 100 Wines competition.

Become a judge on a wine adventure like no other. You’ll get to vote for your Top 100 favourite South African wines. This glamorous event is taking place on Saturday November 10th at the five star Table Bay Hotel on Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront.

The Ultra Liquors 100 Women 100 Wines competition is South Africa’s only wine judging competition exclusively judged by women.

“This is a totally unique approach”, comments Mark Norrish, GM of sponsors Ultra Liquors. ”Our research tells us that women choose their wines by the drinking occasion. Wine drinkers look for something that complements the moment and suits the mood. For example, two of the categories we are tasting wines in are Girls Night Out and Celebration ”.

“The response to last year’s event was fantastic”, says organiser Clare Mack of Spill. “Women judging wines in this casual relaxed way has proven to be a huge success”.

Cape Town Tourism welcomes the event as sponsors for the second year in a row.

“100 Women 100 Wines is a welcome addition to Cape Town’s event landscape.
